Axle scales are used if truck scales as weighbridge for ground level installation or truck scale for overground installation are out of question for reasons of economy or lack of space.
Unlike truck scales axle scales are not legal for trade and can only be used for internal checking purposes. As soon as you need the scale to draw up an account with a third party the use of a truck scale is advisable.

The accuracy of axle scales depends on local installation area and usage.

Basically, the BITZER Axle Scale is marked by a rugged construction. The used load cells are highly stressable and could absorb impact forces. These characteristics are responsible for the long-live cycle of the scale.

Optional you could get a quick-lock coupling for the connection to the weighing indicator. So the scale can be used in different locations. The scale is built in a basement.

For the static weighing it is necessary to stop at the weighing platform in order to weigh each axle separately. The dynamic weighing process is carried out by passing over the platform at walking pace.

Helpful additional components are external displays with or without integrated traffic light system, since the driver could see the status of the weighing process out of his vehicle.

Our PC software BITZER BioEnergy is especially useful for biogas plants and can be easily connected to the axle scale. The identification of trucks could be effected by transmitters.
