BITZER "Weighing Bridge"

A common road bridge can be constructed as weighing bridge. The road bridge’s bearing is carried out by e.g. four load cells includinghigh-quality elastomer bearings.

Technical data of a BITZER Weighing Bridge:

  • Existing road weighbridge: 22 m
  • Bridge’s weight: 180 t
  • Total width: 4m
  • Lane`s width: 3m
  • 2 footways each: 0,5 m
  • 4 load cells each 100 t
  • Weighing capacity: 60 t
  • Partition: 20 kg

Tilting weighbridge

The tilting weighbridge is a truck scale which includes an integrated hydraulic waggon tippler. This kind of scale particularly suits to the reception at grain hopper, since the weighbridge can be lifted while the truck is being unloaded. Consequently, the material flows directly into the grain hopper.

Therefore, this construction enables the operator to carry out the gross and the net weighing process in one work step avoiding moving the vehicle once again.

Truck scales in special construction

It is also possible to supply concrete weighbridges in special design, e.g. excess width with 3,30 or 3,50 m. We have already realised truck scales for overground installation with a width of 4,60 m, also legal for trade.

On demand we supply special coatings for concrete construction. Especially for customers in chemical industries it is indispensable to protect the concrete against chemical effects. 

In addition to those special constructions, our standardised truck scales for ground installation or our truck scales for overground installation generate exact weighing results and provide long-living quality.

Special installations of truck scales

Due to the use of special chain hoist, we are able to install truck scales below existing silo construction or inside halls. We have developed special proceedings to realise effective truck scale’s installations.
