BITZER Wiegetechnik GmbH was founded in 1948 and had developed from a scales service company to a manufacturer of industrial weighing technology.

Today, around the headquarters in Hildesheim (30 km in the South of Hannover), there is an extensive partner network with service partners throughout Germany and partner companies throughout Europe. A total of around 60 employees are currently working for BITZER.

In addition to scale construction, we see ourselves as a system provider who optimizes customer processes with our products and services. The mixture of many years of know-how from the old hands as well as young colleagues with new ideas lays the basis for our agile and solution-oriented way of working with the aim of satisfying our customers holistically.
Whether it’s truck scales and the associated software solutions or special projects that our engineering plans and designs through to commissioning, calibration and after-sales service, we offer our customers a complete service and can also react quickly regionally thanks to our strong partner network.
